Work experience is a great way to experience the day-to-day activities of a particular job. You might be thinking about a particular career or keen to explore what it would be like working in a particular industry. It also provides the chance for you to build your skills and industry contacts and see the broad range of roles available in that industry.

You might also be unsure of where to begin. myfuture has a range of career-decision making tools available to you.

My career profile

Simply log in to My career profile and complete the short online activities which help identify your interests, skills, values and more. You’ll be provided with a results summary and suggested occupations along with links to courses related to the occupations.

Once you have determined your preferred interest area or occupations, talk further with your teacher or career adviser to help you begin the search to find work experience.
