myfuture Newsletter - February 2018

Welcome back to a new academic year full of adventures and challenges.

Myfuture is keen to remind you about the new features and useful resources available to you and your students as you begin to plan for the year ahead.

Saving personalised results

Students who complete activities using the career exploration tool, My career profile, can now save or print their results to review at a later date. To generate a report summarising completed activities and results, simply click on the Export to PDF button under the Results tab. The report also includes a date stamp, which is helpful given that, as part of their career exploration, students can complete these activities several times.

User guides

The myfuture team has created a series of short videos (or user guides) with step-by-step instructions demonstrating the key sections of the website such as: Sign up to myfuture, Logging in, My career profile, Career Bullseyes, and much more. If you or your students are new to exploring myfuture, you may find these guides useful.

Career Bullseyes

Help your students relate their learning areas to occupations using the digital Career Bullseyes. These interactive bullseyes will help your students understand the level of education they will require to achieve their aspiration. Each occupation on the bullseye is linked to a full occupational profile, providing information about the role, courses related to the occupation and employment prospects using current data provided by the Australian Bureau of Statistics.
